The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data is analysed using three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion description/verification. The results of the study show that 95% of students arrive on time for Halaqoh and morning dzikir, reflecting high discipline. Additionally, 90% of students did not engage in academic misconduct, and 100% of students participated in congregational obligatory prayers. Character development was achieved through habit formation, teacher modelling, and collaboration with parents. These findings indicate that character education in this madrasah successfully cultivates individuals who are not only academically intelligent but also possess good moral character. In conclusion, the implementation of an educational method that integrates Islamic values and positive habits significantly contributes to the development of students' character, making them more disciplined, responsible, and honest. This study emphasises the importance of character education in creating a balanced and quality generation, ready to face the challenges of the times with strong religious principles.
2025-05-10T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Afiful Ikhwanhttp://ejournal.tahtamedia.id/index.php/nusantara/article/view/194Transformation of Islamic Education Evaluation: 2025-06-18T23:08:09+07:00Mohd Waffi Albaraq Mokminwaffimokmin@gmail.comSyamsul Arifinsyamsularifin8890@gmail.comMokmin Bin Basriwaffimokmin@gmail.com
This study aims to develop a comprehensive evaluation model for Islamic education that integrates cognitive, affective, and spiritual dimensions while incorporating technology-assisted assessment methods. Utilising a mixed-methods approach combining qualitative literature analysis and quantitative instrument development (following the ADDIE model), the research identifies significant gaps in current evaluation practices, particularly the overemphasis on cognitive measurement and inadequate attention to character development. Findings reveal that while traditional evaluation methods dominate (with only 30% of Islamic schools adopting technology-based assessment), pilot implementations of the proposed multidimensional model demonstrate 42% improvement in character outcomes and 35% increased assessment efficiency. The study highlights three key innovations: (1) a three-domain evaluation framework aligned with Islamic educational objectives, (2) digital assessment tools preserving sharia principles, and (3) practical training modules for educator capacity building. Results further indicate that technology integration significantly reduces evaluation time (by approximately 60%) while improving accuracy in spiritual development tracking. The research contributes to educational reform by offering standardised instruments for holistic student assessment and evidence-based policy recommendations to align national education systems with Islamic values, addressing historical limitations in Islamic educational evaluation since the 12th century.
2025-05-12T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Mohd Waffi Albaraq Mokmin, Syamsul Arifin, Mokmin Bin Basrihttp://ejournal.tahtamedia.id/index.php/nusantara/article/view/200Dynamics of Islamic Religious Education in State Junior High Schools2025-07-30T15:05:02+07:00Viki Rahmawativikirahmawati1@gmail.comImam Muhayatimammuhayat2013@gmail.comAnisah Triyuliasarianisahtriyuliasari3@gmail.com
This study was conducted to reveal how the development of a state-based school that still pays attention to Islamic religious education for its students. While the data analysis technique is an interactive model. The results of the study indicate that in its development SMP Negeri 1 Jetis experienced dynamics in its education system, where these dynamics occurred in various stages including, a) the problem identification stage, namely the principal's anxiety about the importance of Islamic religious education, b) the stage of an alternative problem solver, namely by adding special hours that focus on learning to read and write the Qur'an, c) the stage of choosing a new strategy, namely the full-day school system, d) the implementation stage that takes place and causes changes in an element of education that includes the management of teacher and student recruitment, financing, facilities, infrastructure, and curriculum, and e) the evaluation stage. While the forms of dynamics of SMP Negeri 1 Jetis include two things that include governance and school culture. In terms of governance, it is led by a professional principal whose management is consistently supported by innovative policies. Meanwhile, the school culture is based on a predetermined vision, which then fosters attitudes that are implemented in the daily lives of all members of the school community.
2025-07-30T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Viki Rahmawati, Imam Muhayat, Anisah Triyuliasarihttp://ejournal.tahtamedia.id/index.php/nusantara/article/view/201Getting to Know Teacher Administration in Teaching and Learning Activities for Islamic Religious Education 2025-08-17T21:31:00+07:00Amelia Dwi Septianingrumameliaseptianingrum2993@gmail.comIchwanudinichwanudin244@gmail.com
This study aims to analyse the implementation of teacher administration and teaching and learning activities at SMP Negeri 5 Ponorogo, with a focus on the role of teachers in creating an effective learning environment. The qualitative research method uses an observational, interview, and documentation approach. It analyses findings from previous studies to understand how Islamic education contributes to character building based on the values of the Qur'an and Hadith. The results show that Islamic education not only serves as a means of knowledge transfer but also as a foundation for strong moral formation through the integration of values such as niyyah (intention), ikhlas (sincerity), and ihsan (excellence) in learning processes. Moral inculcation is further strengthened by family involvement, social environment, and a holistic curriculum. However, challenges include limited teacher competence, the negative impact of social media, and a lack of public awareness regarding the significance of Islamic education. This study proposes adaptive implementation strategies, such as improved teacher training, use of value-based digital media, and school-family collaboration. The novelty of this research lies in its critical synthesis of recent literature and its focus on linking Islamic educational principles with character formation in the face of globalisation. The findings offer significant implications for developing contextually relevant and value-oriented Islamic education policies and practices to nurture morally upright future generations.
2025-08-30T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 tsabita nawal hidayah, Aceng Kosasih
